The start of Saturday’s AMA Superbike race at Road America has been delayed. A thunderstorm, including lightning, arrived at the Elkhart Lake road course minutes before the field was scheduled to be sent out on its warm-up lap. More details will be posted as they become available. Update: Saturday’s AMA Superbike event at Road America has been declared a “wet” race, meaning the race, once started, will not be stopped due to weather-affecting the racing surface.
