FIRST PERSON/OPINION: Via E-mail: ALWAYS BLESSINGS NEVER LOSSES. My wife wrote this quote she heard on the tablet I started writing my memories on and this only seems fitting. Mac is just this. Michael C. McIntyre “MCM Racing” or simply “Mac” passed away January 6th. Mac was presence in body and voice (in hearts of some as a Steve McQueen type presence). You knew when you were fortunate enough to be around and listen to his stories and laughter. Mac was a partner in Fastline/MCM Racing. Fastline/MCM Racing was the 1992 EBC Endurance Champions who carried the #1 plate in 1993 with Michael Barnes and Scott Zampach on board. Fastline/MCM Racing helped groom riders like Michael Barnes, Scott Zampach, Jeff Heino, Tommy Lynch, Aaron Yates, Jacques Guenette, Craig Gleason, James Randolph, Jeff Stern, Jeff Rheaume and Mike Hale (what a blast). Mac was also a son, bridge player (taught his mom the ropes [or possibly the other way around]), an accomplished Los Angeles, California Attorney, brother and husband. Prior to establishing ties with Fastline/MCM Racing, Mac was Co-Founder of a WERA endurance team known as McMoon Racing. Mac is our mentor and truly a part of our family. Our marriage of racing since 1989 is blessed because of Mac. He is truly missed by all and will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Mac is survived by his brothers Scott and Jeff McIntyre. God Speed Mac!!! Jeff Stern, WMSC #33 Founder Fastline/MCM Racing And now some reader feedback… FIRST PERSON/OPINION: Via E-mail: Mac will be missed by those of us that were fortunate to have been around him. A true gentleman of the sport. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones. Peace, Kevin Dennis CMRA chief tech inspector, N2 Racing FIRST PERSON/OPINION: Via E-mail: Mac was a dear friend of Steve’s, we kept in contact up to this past Christmas and had no idea he passed away until your release. He was a GREAT person, we spent time at his home in Palm Springs and LA. He once gave me a pendant that was given to his wife by Evel Knieval of a motorcycle with a diamond in the wheel…he would go over contracts for Steve. We met him back when he was helping Tommy Lynch with the Yoshimura ride back in 1990. A real gem of a guy…RIP Christianne Crevier (Editorial note: Christianne Crevier is the wife of multi-time Canadian Superbike Champion Steve Crevier.)
