From a press release issued by USGPRU: Fairfax, VA. The USGPRU race scheduled at Las Vegas has been cancelled. The great folks at Fastrack tried very hard to help us out, but in the end we needed to find somewhere else to run that race. Several options were evaluated, but in the end, the best option was to join the Roadrace Southwest series at Firebird (east) for the April 19-20 weekend. This race weekend will now also be the first official round of the Moriwaki MD250H Powered by HONDA race series. Additionally, the MD250H race at Jennings GP will be rescheduled from April 5-6 weekend to another event yet to be determined. The 125GP and 250GP races will continue as planned at Jennings, but the MD250H race is off the schedule. Finally, the WSMC recently announced the cancellation of the famous 250/50 race later this year. The USGPRU was scheduled to participate in that event. Fortunately, the WSMC will be running a normal monthly race weekend instead, and has invited us to come out and race with them. So the Moto Liberty sponsored 250GP race will still run during that September 20-21 weekend.
