Fairfax, VA – The USGPRU heads south this weekend to Jennings GP race track for the first round of the East Coast region. CCS Florida will be hosting the weekend at this very unique, motorcycle-only race track that favors handling over brute-force horsepower. The track features great viewing for spectators as they can see most of the track from two main viewing areas. We are expecting full grids this weekend as racers from across the country are joined by a strong Canadian contingent. The Canadian RAT racing team is planning on a repeat of last year’s winning performance that saw newcomer Adam Roberts crush the competition in a very wet Moto Liberty/RS-Taichi 250GP race. Additionally, many talented young riders will be coming out to try their hands at the Pilot 125GP and exciting new Moriwaki youth races. With a whopping $10,000 purse up for grabs in the Moriwaki race this weekend, you can be sure that the kids will be pulling out all the stops in hopes of claiming their share. Practice and qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, with the Pilot 125GP race due to start around 1030 Sunday morning, followed by a full day of USGPRU and CCS Florida races. Jennings GP is located just off of I-75 in Jennings, FL. This small town is a mere 20mi south of Valdosta, GA and 40 miles north of Lake City, FL.
