United States Grand Prix Riders Union Announces 2004 Series Schedule

MT. VIEW, Calif.

The United States Grand Prix Riders Union (USGPRU) today released a tentative calendar of events for the 2004 National Series. The 2004 Series consists of five East Coast and five West Coast Regional races, with a final national championship race at a location to be announced.

The USGPRU will run both the 125GP and 250GP classes in 2004. The USGPRU format includes timed qualifying sessions, longer races, and cash purses.

Clear Channel Entertainment’s Championship Cup Series Racing (CCS) and F-USA’s National Road Race Series (NRRS) will host the majority of the events.

East Coast
Apr. 3-4, Jennings GP – CCS
May. 29-31, Summit Point – F-USA
June 18-20, Loudon – F-USA/Can-AM
June 24-26, VIR – F-USA
Aug. 13-15, Barber – F-USA

West Coast
TBA Fontana
Apr. 30-May 1, Las Vegas – CCS
June 5-6, Streets of Willow – CCS
July 11-12, Buttonwillow – CCS
Aug. 7-8, Portland – OMRRA
