After four hours, Vesrah Suzuki’s Tray Batey, Mark Junge and Chris Ulrich were leading the penultimate round of the 2007 WERA/AMA National Endurance Series, a 6-hour at Jennings GP in Jennings, Florida. Vesrah Suzuki led by two laps, 128 to 126, over bp Concept’s Opie Caylor, Keith Marshall and Ben Thompson. Millnic Media Honda’s Steven Breckinridge, Melissa Paris and Cory West were running third overall with 125 laps. The race was red-flagged for about an hour after Justin Marm crashed the 5150 MV Agusta coming onto the front straightaway on the first lap. Marm was unconscious after the crash and was med-evaced to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital; injured riders are routinely transported by helicopter because Jennings GP is 50 miles away from the nearest trauma center. Vesrah Suzuki must finish 26th or better to clinch the 2007 WERA/AMA National Endurance Championship.
