Vesrah Suzuki Wins WERA 8-Hour At Nelson Ledges

Vesrah Suzuki’s Tray Batey, Lee Acree, Mark Junge and Chris Ulrich took a GSX-R1000 to the overall victory in a WERA National Endurance Series 8-Hour at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Garrettsville, Ohio Saturday. The team not only won overall but also earned first in the Heavyweight Superbike class. Roadracing World’s Chris Ulrich substituted for injured John Jacobi and became the first second-generation overall winner of a WERA National Endurance Series race at Nelson Ledges; his father John Ulrich won a 24-hour at the track in 1984. ARNCHU Racing’s Nathan Dressman, Mark Crozier and Randy Sherman finished second overall, seven laps behind, riding a GSX-R1000 and taking the Heavyweight Superstock class win.
