Yamaha revealed the new 2009 YZF-R1 during a Dealer Show at the Mirage in Las Vegas. We got a first look at–and a first listen to–the YZR-M1 racebike-inspired streetbike. However there was no YZR-M1 inspiration in the exhaust placement, it’s still placed about as far up and back from the center of mass as possible!
