On-board video footage from AMA Pro Superbike racer/Roadracing World Racing Editor Chris Ulrich’s 125-mph crash September 17 in Turn Eight at Willow Spring International Raceway courtesy of www.apexspeedtech.com. Ulrich highsided after he hit oil laid down moments earlier by another rider’s machine; no warning flags were displayed when Ulrich came upon the scene. Ulrich suffered a soft tissue injury to his right foot and ankle and a deep bone bruise to the lower left side of his pelvis in this crash. He also crashed at 125 mph on September 4, less than two weeks earlier, during an AMA Pro Superbike race at New Jersey Motorsports Park, suffering an injury to his left foot and ankle and extensive bruising all over his body. As a result of these injuries, Ulrich was not able to compete in this weekend’s AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season finale at Barber Motorsports Park.
