Video: Army Of Darkness Yamaha YZF-R1 Engine Rebuild, Part Two

Army Of Darkness won the 2020 N2/WERA National Endurance Championship on a 2020-model Yamaha YZF-R1. They then went on to win the 2021 and 2022 championships, as well.

Eventually, the 2020 engine started jumping out of gear, which was going to require a complete tear down to rebuild the engine for the 2023 season.

Michael Godin at KWS Motorsports offered to inspect and rebuild it, so follow along we see how the valves, seats, pistons, rings, bearings, and clutch look after 4,000 miles at redline.
