Bill Wolf of MotorcycleVideoReview.com forwarded us this video he shot during last week’s press launch of the new BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL, showing the optional new adaptive headlight system in action. The system detects lean and uses a servo motor to move a pivoting mirror to direct the beam of light into corners. The system also self-levels the headlight beam to compensate for additional weight on the rear of a motorcycle, such as a passenger, full saddlebags, a dog or any combination of those, up to the GVWR rating.
