Broaster Chicken Racing debuted its 2014 team at the AMA Pro Road Racing season opener at Daytona International Speedway. Broaster Chicken Racing Manager Kirk Reuille is excited about the season ahead, saying, “It’s great to be involved with AMA Pro Racing again. We are looking forward to a successful season, and we have sponsored not only two great ambassadors for pro road racing, but also two of the most talented riders. I have known both Dane and Martin for roughly four years now, and they are as competitive as you can find anywhere.”
Westby, who is riding a Yamaha YZF-R6 with privateer team Yamalube/Westby Racing, explains “It’s great to be on board with Kirk and the Broaster guys again for 2014. We were able to put together a helmet deal, and the helmet ended up being one of the cooler looking ones in the pits, and it’s getting ?a lot of comments, with the chicken being ghosted in the side and everything. It’s pretty cool. We’ve ?been on board with the Broaster guys for three years now, so it’s great to have those guys on board again. ?I thought that whenever we went and did our own deal, that maybe we wouldn’t be able to have that ?sponsorship. I’m really glad to represent Broaster Chicken again, and look forward to having the chicken box on the gas tank and podium again.”??
Cardenas, who rode his Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R1000 to the podium in AMA Pro Superbike race 2 at Daytona, says “I am really happy with the new collaboration with Broaster Chicken as apersonal sponsor for the season. I worked with Broaster in the past andthey are a great group of guys. I just want to say thanks to Broaster forchoosing me to represent them. I think it’s going to be a great season forall of us and will try my best to represent Broaster on the track and offthe track.”
