Construction has resumed on the new chicane on the front straightaway at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington.

The chicane is being added to slow riders down before Turn One and to add an extra passing zone, Tracie Schmitt, General Manager of Ridge Motorsports Park, told Roadracingworld.com in February.

Watch a short, time-lapse video of paving happening on the new chicane section below.

MotoAmerica is scheduled to race at Ridge Motorsports Park August 28-30.
