Californian Joe Roberts turned 16 in June and made his AMA Pro Racing debut four days after his birthday, at Barber Motorsports Park. Since then he’s won all five AMA Pro SuperSport races he has entered, before returning to Europe to finish out the 2013 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Series.
