Four-time AMA Pro Superbike Champion and current MotoAmerica
Supersport racer Josh Hayes and his wife, MotoAmerica Stock 1000 racer Melissa
Paris, have started a new program they call the J4orce Training Camp.

Hayes and Paris recently ran the first official camp by
inviting MotoAmerica racers Hunter Dunham, Bobby Fong, Garrett Gerloff, Cameron
Petersen, and Cory Ventura to their home in Oceanside, California, for 14 days
of intensive training, and the plan is to open future camps up to racers
looking to make a long-term commitment to raise their level of competitiveness.

“We had an idea based on all the boys coming out and playing
at our place during the off-season the last couple of years,” said Hayes, “and
how we watched them train together and take each other to the next level on a
pretty regular basis. We’ve always had a good time, so we started thinking
about this on a customer basis.

“It’s never really been offered to people the way that we
think we can offer it. Schools are technique schools or they’re an
experience-type deal where you can ‘come see what the Pros do.’

“Our concept and idea is it’s a long-term deal, small
numbers. We’re basically building a file on you as you go through this for
multiple days at a time, and you end up with a good piece of feedback on yourself
and where to go with your riding.

“You spend all the time with me and basically getting a true
taste of the formula that I used that helped me be successful.”

It’s still early days for J4orce Training Camp, so unfortunately
there is no website to check out and no schedule.

“Right now at this time we’re generating an interest list,”
said Hayes. “People can e-mail me at  [email protected] and as we move forward with camp plans we will share the information with them.”
