Another perspective (check out Helmet-Cam video too) of Team Icon Brammo motorcycle racer Shane Turpin taking the all-electric Empulse RR out on track at Laguna Seca in the ReFuel Time Trial and shatters the previous record for electric vehicles held by the KleenSpeed race car since 2012.

With 170 hp and 200 ft-lbs of torque on tap at the rear wheel, Shane – aka “The Tornado” – piloted the prototype bike to a lap time of 1’31.6 and easy victory in the Electric Motorcycle Modified class.
