Vintage motorcycle shop Garage Company hosts an open house in their new location on Sunday June 6th 2010 from 11am to 4pm. Inglewood, CA - Yoshi Kosaka’s Garage Company recently moved to a new location in Inglewood after more than 20 years in Marina Del Rey. On Sunday June 6th they will host an open house party. There will be food and drinks, classic racing videos on a big screen TV in the entertainment lounge and many classic street and racing motorcycles on display. The new location is 956 W. Hyde Park Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90302, directly across the street from OTD Cycles. The open house will start at 11am and is scheduled to finish around 4pm, or whenever the bench racing stops. “We’re very excited to be in such a huge new building,” said Yoshi. “We had clearly outgrown our old location. Parts and inventory were tucked away in every corner and when we moved, we found so much stuff I didn’t even know we had.” The new building is over 18,000 square feet, more than three times the size of the old location. Some of the more notable motorcycles in Yoshi’s collection that will be on display include a 1969 KR-TT Factory Harley Davidson road racer, one of only seven made, a Yamaha YDS1R Yamaha race bike that took first place in its category at the 2006 Legend of the Motorcycle event, an extremely rare CZ 500cc single cylinder factory race bike, various models of AJS, BSA, Harley Davidson, Matchless, Norton, Triumph and Velocette motorcycles, and lots more.
