DANVILLE, VA. – Three lucky AMA Superbike Big Kahuna ticket buyers win signed Hayden team shirts in an M1 promotion. Three happy AMA Superbike racing fans will be wearing authentic, signed team shirts from Tommy, Roger Lee and Nicky Hayden in a promotion leading up to the August 17-19 AMA Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals Presented by Dunlop and Rockstar double-header at VIRginia International Raceway. Bobby Smith from Knoxville TN won the Tommy Hayden signed team shirt, with the Roger Lee Hayden team shirt going to Fort Meade, Maryland’s Sheldon Cunningham. “Wow! That’s really great,” said Cunningham when he was notified that he would get the shirt. “I never win anything.” Obviously, Cunningham now has won something. Track local Mike “Rooster” Cassada, a Danville, Virginia resident, won the Nicky Hayden signed shirt. Cassada said that “I may put the shirt and a cap from the first bike Grand Prix at VIR in a frame.” M1 Promotions president and race promoter Cameron Gray commented that he was glad “someone got the shirt who appreciates it.” M1 is promoting the AMA Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals the weekend of August 17-19 as M1 and VIRginia International Raceway bring the fastest and most exotic road racing motorcycles in America to VIR for a seventh time. The manufacturer Superbike teams spend staggering budgets to produce some of the most technologically advanced bikes on the planet. Rounding out the program will be AMA’s other pro series, the Pro Honda Oils Supersport Championship presented by Shoei, AMA Repsol Lubricants Superstock Series and Lockhart Phillips USA Formula Xtreme Series, plus lots of off-track fun and excitement with live music, demonstrations and lots more for the whole family.
