Danville, VA (Mar 25, 2010) – Virginia International Raceway (VIR) announced today the addition of Rod Short as Director of Marketing & Public Relations. “Rod brings a wealth of enthusiasm and experience into this position,” said Josh Lief, general manager of VIR. “We are very happy to have Rod join our team at VIR.” Most recently, Rod managed his own media agency specializing in the motorsports industry. Rod brings with him over ten years of experience in sales management in the automotive & performance aftermarkets with NAPA Auto Parts, Precision Turbo, and Sonny’s Racing Engines.
