CCS President Kevin Elliott called Roadracing World just before 7:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time with news that VIR’s gates and north paddock are now open for CCS racers.

CCS officials had sent away riders and crews because the track was temporarily closed pending FAA investigation of a plane crash. But once officials determined that the crash site was well away from the north paddock, they allowed the gates and north paddock to open for CCS competitors.

The CCS Fall CycleFest of Speed is scheduled for this weekend on the north course.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
