Now Is the Perfect Time to Give VIR Annual Passes DANVILLE, VA. The holiday gift season is here, and VIRginia International Raceway offers a great gift for the racing fan with its 2009 Season Pass. With a low price of only $250 until the December 22 cutoff date, the early purchase special means a savings of over $100 off the regular price on season passes bought after December 22, and over $200 off the price of regular tickets. Season passes include special parking and other special benefits throughout the season. “Season passes make a great holiday gift for the road racing fan,” said track general manager Josh Lief. “Our 2009 Calendar is full of action-packed road racing excitement that is the best you can find anywhere in the U.S.” VIR’s 2009 calendar includes nationally televised events like the Bosch Engineering 250 Grand-Am Rolex races, featuring the 185mph Daytona Prototypes; the AMA Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals, featuring the thrills of AMA Superbike racing; the Heacock Classic Gold Cup Historics, which feature the great race cars of yesteryear; and drifting, time attack and Bosch Engineering Twin Six Hour Grand-Am Koni Challenge races which are all part of the action-packed GT Live Weekend.
