Virginia International Raceway Suspends Operations Until April 1

© 2020, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. From a press release issued By VIRginia International Raceway:

To our valued friends and customers of VIR,

There is no playbook for how to handle times like this. So, we have to rely on what we feel is the most responsible course of action. As of now that is to suspend VIR’s operations until April 1 in the hopes that this pandemic settles down and our season can move forward. I understand there are many creative ways that we still could conduct our scheduled events, but we chose to be proactive in doing what is best for our guests, staff and those in our surrounding community.

We ask that everyone please use common sense and keep things in perspective, hopefully humanity will shine through in these uncertain times.

Thanks,

Kerrigan Smith

VIR President
