Volvo Becomes Official Car Supplier Of The Factory Yamaha MotoGP Team

Yamaha Factory Racing Welcomes Volvo Car Italia as Official Car Supplier Mugello Circuit (Scarperia, Italy), 29th May 2013 Yamaha Motor Racing is delighted to be able to welcome Volvo Car Italia as its new ‘Official Car Supplier’. The agreement sees a fleet of fully equipped Volvo cars supplied for the 2013 MotoGP season. Volvo Car Italia’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Director, Sven De Smet, presented the prestige vehicles in a special ceremony at the Mugello circuit, handing the keys to Yamaha Motor Racing’s Managing Director, Lin Jarvis. The arrangement provides Yamaha Motor Racing with a car fleet including Volvo XC60s, Volvo XC70s and the all-new Volvo V40s. As part of the agreement Volvo Car Italia will be able to enjoy the full MotoGP experience as guests of Yamaha Factory Racing in our paddock hospitality at MotoGP races.
