VORTEX RACING ACQUIRED IN PRIVATE EQUITY DEAL
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Vortex Racing, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of aftermarket parts and accessories for motorcycles, revealed today that on November 30, 2021, it reached an agreement with a private equity firm [River Birch Capital Partners] for the racing brand. Vortex founder Matt Griffin has agreed to stay on with a focus on product development for an unspecified amount of time.
The new entity, Vortex Racing LLC, is seeking to acquire additional motorsports industry brands that meet certain performance, qualitative and geographical criteria.
