Utah Sport Bike Association signs partnership with Vortex Racing
Salt Lake City – Utah Sport Bike Association (UtahSBA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Vortex Racing, including title sponsorship of the 2014 Vortex Masters of the Mountains roadrace series at Miller Motorsports Park.
“I can’t tell you how excited we are to have a company the caliber of Vortex on board as a title sponsor,” said Dana Wilson, UtahSBA’s Treasurer. “We know how tight advertising budgets are in the industry, so we wanted to give Vortex a value that worked for everyone. We’ve incorporated the Vortex brand into everything we do, from racing to event appearances, promotions and community outreach. Since Vortex is located right in Salt Lake, we really want to deliver so this continues to be a strong, long-term partnership.”
Vortex Racing is the premier manufacturer of performance motorcycle parts including sprockets, chains, controls, and custom accessories for race, street and dirt bikes. Their parts are used and tested by riders like Superbike champion Josh Herrin and Supercross champion James Stewart.
“We are very happy to have aligned with the UtahSBA and the Vortex Masters of the Mountain series (MoM),” said Kipp McGowan, Vice President at Vortex Racing. “Since Vortex Racing moved from Florida to Utah, we have been looking to align ourselves with local organizations to support not only racing, but the riding community as a whole. UtahSBA offers a plethora of events and training that fit into our company’s business model in supporting the sport. Knowledge and education is of vital importance for newcomers and the UtahSBA helps train new riders to keep them safe. Utah has a fantastic number of enthusiasts and the MoM racing series is a solid series with lots of local talent at a world class facility. The MoM series also lures many racers from other states and Canada providing competitive racing at the highest level. Vortex Racing thanks the UtahSBA for this opportunity and we look forward to many years working together to increase the awareness of this incredible industry.”
To celebrate the partnership, during March and April UtahSBA will have random drawings for Vortex sprockets on the club’s Facebook page. Visit facebook.com/utahsba and give them a “like” to enter.
