Walker walks away with multiple SMRI race wins
The Sandia Motorcycle Roadracing Inc. returned to Napa Speedway, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, May 19th and 20th for race two of the 2012 season.
The absolutely perfect weather and conditions set the back drop for Kelcey Walker to take home another win in the Speedin’ Motorsports ULGP. Though Dave Dikitolia got the hole shot and lead for three laps. Walker took a shot and made his pass in the hairpin. Afterwards, Walker put his head down in order to put a safe distance between himself and Dikitolia. This gave Walker his 3rd win of the day, allowing Walker to continue his undefeated streak.
There were some exciting finishes from some new racers to the club along with some returning racers. Joe Ackley and Terry Kraus have returned this season after a two-year hiatus to finish in the top 3 of their races. Anthony Beattie, a brand new novice, showed great promise winning the Nov U and Nov O races.

The SMRI returns to Napa Speedway in Albuquerque June 24th. Races will be conducted in the clockwise direction on the Standard Configuration. Gate fee is $5 for Sunday and Saturday is free for all.
