Crashing sucks, but if you’ve crashed on the track and slid into soft barriers deployed in front of hard walls, you know the results of the crash could have been far, far worse. Roadracing World wants to hear about any encounter you’ve had with with soft barriers and include your experience in the Saved! column of the magazine. By sharing your story, you’ll help others recognize how important it is to support the Roadracing World Action Fund, which works to increase safety awareness and deploy soft barriers at racetracks across the country. If you (or a racer or track-day rider you know) have crashed and slid, flown or tumbled into soft barriers and want to share your (or their) experience, contact Roadracing World with your name, telephone number and e-mail address. You can e-mail [email protected] anytime or phone the office at (951) 245-6411, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacfic time.
