Yoshimura Suzuki will participate at the 13th and final round of the World Superbike Championship at Portimao in Portugal next month. Australian Josh Waters will pilot the Japanese company’s GSX-R1000 Suzuki as a ‘Wild Card’ entry at the event on October 16th, following the team’s debut at the opening round at Phillip Island in Australia in February and also at Miller Motorsports Park in May. It will be the team’s first time at the circuit and both Yoshimura and Waters are looking forward to the challenge after its hard-fought-for runner-up position at the Japanese Suzuka 8 Hour World Endurance race in July.
