Roadracing World Young Guns Jackson Blackmon and Gabriel Da Silva each won a pair of races Saturday during a WERA Sportsman Series event at Roebling Road Raceway, just outside of Savannah, Georgia.

Blackmon took victories in Lightweight Twins Superbike Expert and Formula Two Expert, while Da Silva got first place in C Superbike Expert and C Superstock Expert.

Some other Expert race winners included: Blake Davis in Lightweight Twins Superstock, James Eberhart in Heavyweight Twins Superbike, Mark Faulkner in B Superstock, Joseph Giannotto in A Superstock, Michael Hilton in Senior Superbike Heavyweight, Damian Jigalov in Clubman, Stefano Mesa in A Superbike, Mark Watkins in Senior Superbike Mediumweight, and Xavier Zayat in B Superbike.

The turnout was strong, according to Mesa, but hot temperatures made track conditions “greasy” and likely contributed to a few crashes.

The double-header event continues Sunday.
