WERA NEWS FOR SEPTEMBER AND GNF 2018!
For all the WERA Racers in the Northcentral Region since we have been unable to add another Grattan weekend and the Nelson Ledges date fell through we are going to add the September 8/9 Double Header at Road Atlanta to the Region for points and contingency. We hope to have a better 2019 Northcentral Region Schedule and thank-you all for your support this season!
On the September 8/9 weekend at Road Atlanta WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will hold a silent auction to benefit the Rider’s School Students with some help toward their WERA Rider’s School. The items to be auctioned off come from Deidre Kesler and were Kurt Kesler’s famous cowboy hats – they will be on display in Registration and the bidding will begin at $20.00 per minimum. Kurt lost his life this past Thanksgiving in a car accident and he was always there to help any new rider who came into our paddock so we all feel this is a very fitting tribute to a racer/man we all miss dearly – YO!
The 2018 WERA Grand National Finals will be adding a 4 hour Big Bike Endurance on Thursday, October 25th sponsored by N2 which will make this the final round for the N2 Endurance Series! The purse to be determined and released by N2 will be paid at this round! WERA Motorcycle Roadracing has worked with N2 on this Series and look forward to hosting this final round at the 2018 WERA Grand National Finals!
WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing.
