Team Zyvax Goes WERA Endurance Racing in Birmingham, Alabama Kennesaw, Georgia, (September 9, 2010) As team Zyvax heads to beautiful Barber Motorsports Park their eyes are on the prize. With the Grand National Finals just weeks away the team is focused on maintaining or even growing their lead to secure the championship. The teams have worked hard all season long and the overall win is within reach. Staying sharp and not making any mistakes will be key during the four hour endurance race on Saturday, September 11th. Both the Yamaha R1 and R6 Zyvax teams are on an even playing field at the technical Barber track. Ben Bostrom and Chris Clark’s powerful Team Zyvax / Graves Motorsports prepped Yamaha R1 won’t be able to really stretch it’s legs on Barber’s short straights. The lack of longer straights keeps the bigger bike from getting its power down to the track. The smaller Zyvax bike, however, will be in its element on the technical 17 turn track. Dane Westby and Clinton Seller’s Team Zyvax / Graves supported Yamaha R6 is lighter and more agile which translates into higher corner speed.
