WERA National Series Returns To Action This Weekend In Michigan

Picturesque Grattan is the next stop on the traveling Bridgestone/WERA National Endurance and Michelin/WERA National Sprints. Included this weekend will be the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman North Central Regional. Look for the locals to come out and play with the National riders. These weekends always bring for good competitive racing. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing sponsor, ridersdiscount.com will also come out to Grattan Raceway, for this event with a big display and hospitality tent. This event will also have an online film crew to catch all the action for viewing on the net. Stay tuned for all those details. The National Endurance Teams will come out and see challenge from the local teams in the Bridgestone/WERA Endurance. The race is scheduled for 6 hours of non-stop action starting at 11:30 on Saturday, July 11th. On Sunday, July 12th, the sprint riders will take the track and all makes and models of superbike and superstock motorcycles will run the scheduled 18 eight lap sprint races. This is the type of event that brings good close competition and gives folks the chance to see the stars of motorcycle road racing’s future. Tickets will be available at the gate for $30.00 for the weekend; $20.00 for Saturday/Sunday and $15.00 for Sunday only. Camping is available at Grattan Raceway.
