WERA Racer George Gentle Died Of Unknown Causes

WERA racer George Gentle, AKA “Gentle George,” 29, died November 23 in his sleep at his home in Talking Rock, Georgia. The cause of death was not immediately known.

A viewing will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. November 28 at the White-Rosehaven Funeral Home, 8640 Rose Ave., Douglasville, Georgia (770) 942-4246, with services to immediately follow, according to WERA’s Sean Clarke.

Gentle won 2003 WERA Sportsman National Championships in B Superstock and B Superbike.

Roadracingworld.com staffers offer condolences to his family and friends, and wish him Godspeed.
