ROAD ATLANTA SE/ATLANTIC COASTAL SPORTSMAN PRESENTED BY MARIETTA MOTORSPORTS!
September 10/11 will have the riders of WERA competing at the South East and Atlantic Coastal Season’s final Sportsman Event at Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA. N2 Track Days will host a practice day on Friday, September 9th! Saturday will have the WERA Vintage Riders on track and WERA Solo races will also run. The WERA Solo races have a payback based on entries in each of the Classes: Heavyweight Superbike Expert and Novice; Mediumweight Superbike Expert and Novice and Lightweight Superbike Expert and Novice. The last Rider’s School for the Regions will also be available Saturday for any riders wanting to make the step into racing.
Joining us at this round is the Historic Moto Gran Prix Group with their Historic Machines. They will be set up in our Paddock with some historic machines you have seen on the track winning races in the past. Many of them will take their machines out for an exhibition race around the track and will also race them in the WERA Vintage Classes on Saturday.
Sunday will have a full slate of SE/Atlantic Coastal Regional Sportsman races presented by Marietta Motorsports. This round holds Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki Contingency and it will also be another qualifier for the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Cup in the E Superstock Class. Riders will be vying for all important points toward grid positions at the WERA Grand National Finals to be held at the end of October at BarberMotorsportsPark including the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Cup Finals. Road Atlanta is WERA’s “home” track and we look forward to ending our season at “home”!
