WERA AT GRATTAN WITH SPORTSMAN AND PIRELLI NATIONAL CHALLENGE SERIES!

August 27/28 the WERA Sportsman Series will be at Grattan Raceway in Michigan with a Double Header which will have the Pirelli/WERA National Challenge Series included on Sunday, August 28th.

The WERA Pro Superbike Class will run on Sunday and will carry a purse. The purse for 15 riders on the grid guarantees $350.00 for first; $250.00 for second and $150.00 for third. If the grid is under 15 riders the purse will move to NOLA end of September. If more than 20 riders take the grid the purse will pay $75.00 to fourth place and $50.00 to fifth place. As the grid goes higher than 30 the purse will continue to pay down to sixth place. This class is open to Expert riders with a WERA License who have a machine that meets the 600cc Superbike Rules.

Sunday will also feature the Michelin/WERA Superbike Class where the big boys come out to see who knows the fastest way around the winding Grattan Roadcourse!

This event is another qualifier for the 2016 bLU cRU Yamaha R3 Cup Finals which will run at the 2016 WERA Grand National Finals at Barber Motorsports Park October 23rd! Riders need to run two (double header events count as two events) WERA ESS Races on a Yamaha R3 to qualify to run at the GNF. Both Expert and Novice riders will grid up at the GNF for some very nice prizes from Yamaha and their partners paying first through third in both Expert and Novice. Come on out and get qualified to run in the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Cup Challenge Finals!
