Team RidersDiscount.com is pleased to announce WERA expert #20 Sam Gaige has signed to ride with Team RidersDiscount.com for the 2011 season. RidersDiscount.com will provide Sam with technical apparel from Alpinestars, Kushitani, Arai helmets and Forcefield Armour in addition to providing for other costs associated with racing. Last season, Sam came away with more than 40 wins, netting him 14 WERA championships in two regions along with excellent final standings in the North Central region where he did not compete full-time. Sam’s dedicated work ethic is hard to miss as it’s akin to that of many pro racers. And, despite his fierce riding style on the track, Gaige’s friendly demeanor makes him one of the most approachable racers in the WERA paddock. These aspects of Sam’s riding career make him an invaluable part of Team RidersDiscount.com’s renewed focus on club racing. Sam Gaige I’m very happy to be riding with Team RidersDiscount.com. They’ve been incredibly supportive of club racers in general and thanks to them, I’ll be able to continue racing with WERA in the coming season. For 2011, Sam will ride a Dunlop-shod Markbilt-prepared Yamaha YZF-R6 and defend his 600cc class titles in the North East and Mid-Atlantic WERA regions. In addition to this, Sam will be presented with new challenges in the North Central region competing at tracks he’s never seen before.
