AFTER A FIVE YEAR HIATUS – WERA RETURNS TO NELSON LEDGES ROAD COURSE ON MAY 11/12!

“WERA Motorcycle Roadracing has not held an event at Nelson Ledges Road Course since 2014 and with new ownership and track updates WERA is excited to be returning with a Northcentral Double Header Sportsman event on May 11 & 12,” said Evelyne Clarke, CEO of WERA Motorcycle Roadracing. “There has been a void in our Northcentral Region and that void is closing with our return to a track that was a huge part of WERA’s history.”

Racing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday! Our feature classes will be the A-1 Auto/SAS Racing Senior Superbike Mediumweight Exert class along with the A Superstock, A Superbike and Formula 1 Expert Classes! Dynamic Motorsports presents the C Superstock Expert and Novice Classes! There will be Vintage Classes as well as Lightweight and Youth Classes on tap both days. Credentials will be available at the gate and camping is allowed.

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle road racing. All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing with a co-sanction by the AMA and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the WERA National Challenge Series.
