WERA National Challenge Series Now AMA Sanctioned

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing is pleased to announce that as of the May 16/17 Round #3 of the WERA National Challenge Series we will carry AMA Sanction. All you need to do as a rider for the National events is have an AMA Membership ($49.00 annually). We feel this is the way to show support to the premier Pro Roadracing Series in the USA – MotoAmerica who is partnered with the American Motorcyclist Association and FIM North America. Not only does this show support of MotoAmerica but the AMA Membership comes with so many benefits – from roadside assistance, discounts on medical insurance plans, discounts on products, motels, rental cars and discounts on MedjetAssist air medical transports just to name a few. Your $49.00 can go a long way to save some money! You can join via the link on the WERA Forum and we are working on a WERA web site link or at the track where there is a WERA National Challenge Round!

May is a busy month with many races. May 9-10 finds the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. Come out to see the Racers of WERA take on the rolling Summit Point Venue and see some of the best two wheel action the sport has to offer!

Camping is available and tickets are sold at the gate – come on out and see if you can pick the stars of the future in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing!!

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing. The legacy of Pro riders on a National and World level is legendary. All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the WERA National Challenge Series, WERA Motorcycle Roadracing also offer Vintage Racing.
