FINAL ROUND FOR MOTOAMERICA AND WERA SUPPORT CLASS TRIPLE CROWN + 1 PRESENTED BY HONDA!

September 21/22/23 was the final round of the 2018 Triple Crown +1 presented by Honda. The weekend gave us a real challenge with the high temps and humidity but the WERA Motorcycle Roadracing riders did well. 23 riders took the grid and in the 1000sb Class the podium was a nice mix with some new faces. 1st was #37 Stefano Mesa on his BMW taking both the top of the podium and the 1000SB 2018 Championship; 2nd was #111 David A. Brown on his Yamaha with #100 Michael Hilton on his Ducati. The 2nd place position for the season went to #912 Brad Burns on his Kawasaki; Billy Ethridge on his Suzuki secured 3rd place for the season.

The 600 SB podium had #131 Charles Ivey on his Yamaha in 1st place (Ivey finished 6th overall running amongst the 1000SB) he also took the 2018 Championship in the Series. Second on the podium was #491 R. Bryan Land on his Yamaha and the third place went to #42 Andrew Bowen on his Triumph. Bowen was also second in points in the 600SB Class for 2018 with #174 William Posse on his Yamaha taking third in the 600SB Class for the 2018 Triple Crown +! Presented by Honda.

The top three for the season each got a check for their efforts thanks to American Honda who has been behind this program since it’s inception. Thanks to them for believing!
