FINAL WERA WEST SPORTSMAN PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL!
October 8 and 9 finds the riders of the WERA West Sportsman Series presented by Lucas Oil on the Las Vegas Classic Course for their final round of the 2016 season. Racing will begin at 12:30 on Saturday and noon on Sunday. A WERA Rider’s School will be offered Saturday so if you have been on the fence about making the move from track days or the street to racing here is your chance to see if you have what it takes! The weekend is a double header so Sprint racing for two days!
This event will be the last chance qualifier to compete in the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Cup Finals at the WERA Grand National Finals next month (October 20-23) at BarberMotorsportsPark. Riders have to compete in two prior ESS Class races on a Yamaha R3 to qualify for the event at the GNF! Both days at Vegas will host the ESS Class and the final round to qualify if you only have one race in the books will be on Friday, October 21st at the GNF! Don’t be caught out – get you’re two races in and join us for the Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Cup Final on Sunday at the GNF!
The GROM Cup by Honda will also run with our mini riders both days this weekend at Vegas – another class which will have a purse at the GNF on Saturday when we run the GROM Cup by Honda Final! Also on the schedule is the Kenny Anderson Formula 3 Class! The Sidecars will also join in the fun this weekend and will be racing both days!
