WERA West Series Racing In Las Vegas This Coming Weekend

ROUND #2 WERA WEST PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL FEBRUARY 29/MARCH 1 AT LAS VEGAS!

 

This coming weekend the riders and sidecars take over the Las Vegas Classic Course at Round #2 of the WERA West Sportsman Series presented by Lucas Oil. (#lucasoil)

 

Racers Edge Performance will host the Practice Day on Friday, February 28th.  Then on Saturday and Sunday WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will take over with a double-header sprint weekend including the sidecars of the SRE.  Sunday’s A Superbike and C Superbike will have a purse paid out to top three and two random riders will get $125.00 each if they take the checker flag.  This purse is brought to you by Fresh ‘N’ Lean, Calishine Racing, Capit, Cha Cha Cha Motorsports and 61DTC.  OEM contingency is available Sunday as well.

 

There will be a New Rider’s School on Saturday for all those who want to learn to compete. Racing begins at 12:30 Saturday and noon Sunday!  Come and see your favorite WERA Motorcycle Roadracing rider compete.  Camping is available at the track.  Gates will be open Friday till 10:00 p.m. and open 6:30 a.m. Saturday!

 

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle road racing.  The legacy of Pro riders on a national and world level is legendary.  All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing with a co-sanction by the AMA and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am series with the WERA National Challenge Series. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing also offers vintage racing and limited endurance racing with track day partners N2.  WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was voted the 2017 AMA Track Organizer of the Year.
