West Takes Pole Position, Track Record And Pan Delta Superbike Race Win In China

American Cory West took pole position, broke the motorcycle lap record and won the first Pan Delta Superbike race Saturday at the Zhuhai International Circuit, in China.

West, riding a Pirelli-shod Splitlath Motorsport EBR 1190RS for the first time at Zhuhai, lapped the circuit in 1:35.859 to set a new outright motorcycle lap record for the track and captured pole position, according to Splitlath Motorsport.

West then won Saturday’s 10-lap race by a margin of 1.6 seconds.
