More, from a press release issued by Jack Pfeifer’s publicist:

Formula One 3rd SuperStock 2nd Open Superbike 4th 600 SS 4th–started 38th

With minimal prep time and basically two stock Kawasakis–one ZX-6RR and one ZX-10R–Jack Pfeifer headed off to Willow Springs Raceway for the second round of the 2006 WSMC season to test out the new bikes.

Jack had two wet laps of practice on the new 2006 (showroom stock) ZX-10R on Saturday and the Sunday morning warm-up and then it was race time.

Jack had a good battle in the F1 race with a debatable third-place finish due to a malfunctioning transponder, but Jack was happy overall with the performance of the two Kawasakis. Jack stated on the podium that the new ZX-10R was probably the best package out of the box he had ever ridden.

Jack, who finished fourth in the 2004 Daytona 200, will ride the ZX-6RR in the 2006 Daytona 200 with support from Roadracingworld.com .
