KIRKLAND, WASHINGTON – With approximately 10 weeks remaining until the start of 2011 Manx Grand Prix, lifelong Kirkland Washington resident and WMRRA racer Anthony Bakker has announced he has submitted his entry with the Manx Motor Cycle Club which will be subject to the granting of a TT Mountain Course Licence by the ACU. The issue of a TT Mountain Course Licence by the ACU does not guarantee acceptance into the event. A member of the United Kingdom based Team Kaka Racing since 2008, Anthony will be racing a 2004 Honda CBR600RR on the Isle of Man’s famous 37.73 mile long TT Mountain Course Circuit. The bike is owned by Team Manager Bill Callister who has experience with 4 MGP’s, 1 Ulster Grand Prix and also raced in the 2011 Isle of Man TT. Anthony’s main USA sponsors are MOTUL USA, MOTION PRO , VORTEX RACING & SPIDERGRIPS. Anthony will be wearing a custom “Perfectline”suit and SP-R gloves by HEROIC Racing. The Manx Grand Prix motorcycle races have been held on the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course every year for a two-week period usually spanning the end of August and early September since 1923. If you would like to get involved by sponsoring or help by donating, please visit the Team Kaka Racing web site at www.kakaracing.co.uk or Facebook www.facebook.com/madmanx.
