Penguin and the WRS team up to provide the perfect environment for motorcycle training Winchendon, MA (July, 8 2010) The Women’s Riding School (WRS) returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, July 23rd for a one of a kind, fun-filled day that will help women improve their riding skills and get the most out of their motorcycling experience. The WRS and the Penguin Roadracing School joined forces for the first time for the 2009 WRS event. Their shared focus on fun, safety and rider education make them a perfect match. “No other motorcycle riding school can equal Penguin’s history and experience in rider training,” said Judy Mirro, President of the not-for-profit Women’s Riding School. “That is key in allowing us to provide a relaxed atmosphere that ensures our guests maximum enjoyment of the event.” The WRS, which has roots dating back to 1998, started as the “Ladies Track Day” hosted by BCM Motorsports. The event has since evolved under the Women’s Riding School LC3 organization into a full motorcycle experience open to all female riders regardless of riding knowledge. The WRS instructors are the industry’s most experienced and diverse training staff. The low student to instructor ratio ensures everyone gets the individual attention they need. The day consists of on and off track training, group and individual instruction and elective infield exercises. This year’s event also includes an opportunity for half day tours with Green Mountain Motorcycle Road Riding and an optional meet and greet dinner on Thursday evening at 5:30pm. “So much of motorcycling is about sharing the experience. The meet and greet allows us all time to get acquainted and answer questions about the training. This has been extremely helpful for participants, especially those new to motorcycling.’ continued Judy Mirro. This year’s school is scheduled for July 23 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the optional Thursday evening gathering, July 22nd. The school provides a secure, closed course environment, in a non-competitive atmosphere so the learning can come with ease. Riders of all brands and types of motorcycles including cruisers, dirt bikes, sport bikes and standards will benefit from the school. The event fills quickly so pre-registration is required. To register go to www.penguinracing.com. For those who need equipment, rental motorcycles and riding equipment are available for an additional charge.
