From a press release issued by Woodcraft Technologies, Inc.: Woodcraft Technologies Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Armour Bodies bodywork to our line of products for 2008. Armour Bodies Inc. is a Canadian company who took the bodywork world by storm when Roadracing World performed a bodywork comparison test where they finished among the leaders in every category tested. Nine brands of bodywork were tested and Armour Bodies finished first in both flexibility and finish, second in both fit and weight and exhibited no burn through. Woodcraft will now be the exclusive importer and distributor for Armour Bodies in the United States. Woodcraft president Eric Wood noted how well Armour Bodies complimented the rest of the Woodcraft lineup. “Armour Bodies was an ideal match for Woodcraft. The most important thing for me with bodywork is that it fits perfectly, and Armour Bodies fits better than any other bodywork I’ve tried. When this fit is combined with the flexibility, beautiful surface finish and the great price of Armour Bodies I knew we had a winning product.” Armour bodies offers two lines of bodywork, the Pro Series and the Signature Series. The Pro Series is made from the same expensive molds as the Signature series bodywork, giving racers the same fit and finish that Armour Bodies bodywork has been known for. Signature bodywork is made from a special resin (the same stuff used to make the bottom of a kayak) that is incredibly flexible and light. It also has Kevlar reinforcements at all the key mounting points that add significant strength and help to prevent circular mounting holes from becoming oval. Woodcraft will have stock of Pro Series bodywork for most models in early March, and will have Signature Series bodywork by early April. Woodcraft is now accepting orders for these kits. Woodcraft is also accepting racer resumes for both Armour Bodies and Woodcraft products until January 31.
