Brandon Cretu Confirmed To Compete In The 24-hour Bol d’Or With AMSS-Vidra Team
Fresh off a debut at the Suzuka 8-hour, Cretu has secured a ride with the AMSS-Vidra Team based out of Serbia, for the 24-hour Bol d’Or, which is the season opener for the 2017/2018 Endurance World Championship. Cretu first rode with the team during a joint effort with Team Rabid Transit during the LeMans 24-hour race earlier this season where they finished 15th in class after a challenging and eventful race.
This will mark the Cretu’s second full season in the Endurance World Championship and as he begins his new journey in racing after retiring from real roads events like the Isle of Man TT, where he primarily competed for 7 years.
Brandon Cretu, commented:
“I didn’t think I was going to get a second year in EWC but I can say I was thankful and excited when Vidra Team gave me a call and asked if I wanted to ride with them. They are a great group of guys who are passionate about the sport and love endurance racing. I’m looking forward to getting on track after a bit of a break after Suzuka. Massive thanks to Team Rabid Transit for allowing me the time from other duties to pursue my endurance racing endeavors and thanks to YART for their continued support. Be sure to follow for live updates over the 24-hour period of the race on my social media!”
