Sports Network Announces FIM Superbike World Championship Schedule
Starting Saturday, May 11
WHAT: beIN SPORTS continues coverage of the World Superbike Championship with Round 5 of the 2019 FIM Superbike World Championship this Saturday, May 11th. beIN SPORTS will take viewers along for the action as riders compete in the Italian Round, taking place at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, one of the most eclectic rounds of the year.
Leading the pack going into the WorldSBK Championship’s fifth round are Spaniard Alvaro Bautista (Ducati) and English riders Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) and Alex Lowes (Yamaha). Lorenzo Zanetti (Motocorsa Racing) will return to the World Superbike grid for the first time since 2012. The Italian racer – a regular test rider for Ducati Corse – will also handle the fifth Ducati V4 R at Imola.
