LAND OF OPPORTUNITY The WSBK Championship arrives in the U.S. at Miller Motorsports Park on Salt Lake City during the sixth round of 2012, the Liberty Racing Team relies on the skill of its riders to raise the season. In the picturesque scenery of the salt lake that acts as the proscenium of the Miller Motorsports Park circuit, the Superbike will return to scene, on Monday for the only time during the season in accordance with the religious customs of the U.S. state in which will be head the World Championship and in conjunction with the “Memorial Day”. The 4907 meters of the American track promise to be one of the more favorable tarmac for the Borgo Panigale twin-cylinder. The Liberty Racing Team, that boasts three Ducati in his team, hopes to raise, thanks to the talents of: Sylvain Guintoli, Kuba Smrž and Maxime Berger, its own 2012 that after Monza and Donington has suffered a setback. Maxime Berger, fourteenth with twenty-nine and a half points overall, is carrying on his apprenticeship, honing, GP after GP, his feeling with the Ducati 1198R. In the SBK past edition the Liberty Racing Team centered, to its fifth apparition in the Championship, a fantastic double podium in Race 1 with Smrž, second, and Guintoli third, to its first absolute podium in Sbk, that it gave to the Ducati a total dominion. The seventh and eighth place in race 2, caused by a not optimal grip of the tyres, didn’t darken the Czech team first fantastic part of the day, and the Liberty Racing left the American trip with a prestige result and a hefty amount of points. Opened in 2006 it is able to host the most important competitions such as world and national championships. As usually for the most modern circuit, the security has been held in high esteem, so that U.S. track has the reputation of being one of the safest tracks in the world.
