World Superbike: Rabat Signs With Barni Racing Ducati

Tito Rabat will ride the Ducati Panigale V4 R of the Barni Racing Team in 2021 WorldSBK season

Calvenzano (BG), 21 December 2020 – The Barni Racing Team is pleased to announce that Tito Rabat will defend the colours of the Marco Barnabò’s squad in the 2021 WorldSBK season. The Catalan will ride the Ducati Panigale V4 R of the team from Bergamo and today he made his first contact with the new team. At the Barni Racing Team’s factory in Calvenzano – about 30km far from Bergamo – Tito signed the new one-year contract than he jumped on the saddle of his new bike for the first time. Also the Sporting Director of Ducati Corse Paolo Ciabatti attended the meeting.

Esteve “Tito” Rabat, born in Barcelona in 1989, was the Moto 2 World Champion in 2014 and he came from five seasons in MotoGP, the last three with the Ducati GP of the Avintia Racing Team. In the upcoming season Rabat will make his debut in the WorldSBK championship bringing to the Barni Racing Team his experience as a rider with an impressive fifteen championships in 125, Moto 2 and MotoGP.
